Surface โจPreparation
The bonding surface must be relatively clean and โจdry. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 โจIsopropyl Alcohol and water mixture. A clean, lint-free cloth โจshould be used.

ย Application
Shake 3M primer 94 well before โจusing. Apply a thin, uniform coating to the bonding surface using โจthe minimum amount to coat the surface fully. Allow 3M โจprimer 94 to dry thoroughly before applying the tape. This is usually โจaccomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature. Be sure the primed โจsurface remains free from contaminants before applying the โจtape. Porous surfaces may require two applications of 3M tape primer 94 โจfor uniform coverage and good adhesion. Allow the first application โจof primer to dry before applying the second coat. 3M primer 94 โจmay be applied with a brush or swab.
FIRST AID INFORMATIONEye Contact:ย Flush eyes with large amounts of water. If symptoms persist, get medical attention.
Skin contact: Immediately flush the skin with a large amount of water.
Inhalation:ย Remove the person to fresh air. If symptoms develop, get medical attention.
If Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting; get the person two glasses of water and Get immediate medical attention.
Clean up
3M primer 94 can be removed with โจisopropyl alcohol. Vigorous scrubbing may be required.
Purpose in Mycology
We use this in Mycology to prime the plastic lids after making holes and then stick the injection port and air filter to make sure there is no leakage. If you use metal lids for mycology, priming is not essential.
