Benzylaminopurine (BAP) Powder is a plant growth regulator frequently used in plant tissue culture to encourage cell division and shoot proliferation.

Steps for Using Benzylaminopurine (BAP) Powder
To prepare tissue culture media with PCT’s BAP powder, follow these steps:
- Prepare liquid tissue culture medium using PCT’s MS, DKW, or another suitable media, depending on the plant’s needs.
- Add sugar according to the volume of media being prepared (typically, 30 grams per liter), along with 1 ml/L PPM™ and 3-4 grams per liter of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per liter of agar.
- Mix in the required amount of BAP from the pre-prepared BAP stock solution.
- Sterilize the medium by autoclaving for 20 minutes at 121℃ and 15 psi.
