Description
Organic beeswax is applied to seal the opening after a log has been drilled and filled with either plug spawn or sawdust. Unsealed holes can allow contaminants to enter, which may hinder or compete with the mycelium growth. By sealing the opening with organic beeswax, an additional protective layer is created, safeguarding the mycelium from drying or contamination. This protection allows the mycelium to establish itself without rivals, flourish in its new environment, and yield a plentiful harvest of mushrooms for you and your loved ones to savor.
