Description
Our specialty Liquid Culture Mix containing Corn Dextrose and Light Malt Extract (DLME) is ideal for large-scale expansion and growth of mushroom mycelium. This formulation provides far superior nutrient levels over honey, Karo Syrup, or glucose syrup. This mix is best used for extremely vigorous strains like Reishi, Oysters or Swordbelt.
We also sell another product – Using our Supercharge Liquid Culture Pre Mix with any of these vigorous species, like Reishi, will produce an overabundance of strong growth, which is hard to pull into the syringe with a regular needle. That’s why this recipe, which is not as nutrient-dense, is great. You should only use DLME recipe over our Supercharge LC Pre-mix, if you have issues with excessive growth that is hard to pull into the needle.
The difference in both the recipe is the Presence of Peptone.
