How to operate All American Sterilizers?

Purchase the complete range of All American electric and non-electric sterilizers. Please note we do not sell pressure cookers or pressure canners; all our products are sterilizers that can reach high temperatures and pressures and maintain them.

The model numbers for All American can be quite confusing for some. For instance, All American 1941 is a 41-quart pressure canner, whereas All American 1941X is a 41-quart sterilizer.

These sterilizers are ideal for mycology, doctors, dentists, first aid stations, hospitals, and laboratories to sterilize instruments, tools, and bandages.

All American Sterilizers come in Electric and non-electric models.

All American Sterilizers Overview:
  • Industries Served: Notably used in dental, medical, laboratory, and food sectors, but also popular for smaller-scale and domestic purposes.
  • Design Quality: Built with performance, quality, and durability in mind, they’re renowned across various industries.
  • Material: Manufactured from robust cast aluminum, ensuring longevity. The internal section boasts a sleek, glossy finish that’s both visually appealing and easy to clean.
  •

Electric Autoclave Sterilizer Features:

  • Self-Contained Unit: Comes with an immersion heating element, automatic thermostatic control, pilot light, and an automatic release valve.

  • Pressure Control Regulator: Allows users to adjust the pressure to 1 to 20 psi settings to match specific sterilization needs.

  • Built-In Thermometer: Calibrated in both Celsius and Fahrenheit for accurate temperature monitoring during sterilization.

Non-Electric Sterilizers (Stove Top):

  • Compatibility: This model is compatible with any heat source (Gas, Electric, Glass/Flat top). Their weight and large diameter might lead to surface breakage if you are not careful.

Additional Features:

  • Metal-to-Metal Sealing Technology: An All-American pioneering technique that ensures a steam-tight seal without the need for a gasket, which is crucial for consistent sterilization. Maintain this seal by using a high temperature sealant or Vaseline before each use.

  • Automatic Pressure Release Valve: A safety measure that releases excess pressure once it hits 20 psi to remain in the sterilization range.

  • Stay-Cool Bakelite Top Handle: Enhances user safety during operation.

Safety Precautions for Sterilizer Use:

  1. It’s essential to use the sterilizer exclusively for its intended purpose. Please refrain from using it for culinary activities or food processing.
  2. Ensure that the sterilizer is operated securely, out of reach from children and pets.
  3. The machine can become exceedingly hot; therefore, wearing heat-resistant gloves is crucial to prevent burns.
  4. Regularly monitor the pressure gauge for safe operation.
  5. While the machine is pressurized, do not attempt to move or lift it. Avoid making direct contact with its hot surface.
  6. Before opening the sterilizer post-cycle, confirm that the pressure has reduced to zero. Proceed to release any trapped steam cautiously, keeping your hands and face at a distance to avoid potential steam burns.
  7. Under no circumstances should the machine be operated without water.
